Research Rotation
Our research rotation offers hands-on clinical research experience for trainees. Accepted applicants will work side by side with our research team to learn about various aspects of clinical research, including budget/contract negotiations, study design, IRB review, subject consent, biospecimen handling, statistical analysis, literature review, drafting manuscript/abstracts, regulatory processes and more. Many of our trainees have had the opportunity to present posters, and co-author peer to peer publications. This rotation is ideal for trainees who want to pursue academic careers.
Our research primarily focuses on eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs) but we are currently expanding our scope to include other chronic GI conditions such as celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, etc. This opportunity will provide an opportunity to improve the lives of patients while being on the front lines of evidence-based research.
